FAQ's -Frequently Asked Questions
Do they really give out all those prizes and honeymoons?
Most definately! Attending a bridal show is the best way to get a jump start on your wedding plans in addition to winning fabulous goods and services for your big day. Arriving early, visiting every booth, and entering all the contest is the best way to increase your chances of walking away with a trip to Taihiti or fabulous jewelry to be worn on the day of your wedding.
Is there a fashion show?
All Behind The Veil bridal shows have a runway fashion show showcasing bridal and men's formalwear. We allow you to preview the latest bridal fashions, often times, before they hit the retail stores. This allows you to see, feel and touch the very gown you may end up wearing when you tie the knot.
Pre-Registration-is that necessary?
In order to avoid waiting in line, something we all hate to do, we suggest you pre-register and purchase your tickets in advance. In addition, pre-registration is an immediate savings as registration in advance affords you an automatic 50% discount.
Should I accept information from non-show vendors?
You could be approached by people passing out their business cards in a subtle manner. You may walk outside and be handed a flyer or card by someone standing outside of the show venue. You may have a bridal show "special" on your windshield when you get outside. All of these people have skirted the rules and requirements for exhibiting as an official vendor of the show. In most cases, they may be unlicensed, uninsured or out to make a quick buck. All "official" Behind The Veil exhibitors can be identified by an official BTV badge. Anyone else is not an official vendor. Behind The Veil makes every effort to prevent this from happening so that you have an enjoyable experience, however if this does occur, simply let someone from the show staff know and they will take care of it. It is not worth your time and trouble.
BTV Tip of the Day- Get to the show early, listen to the professional advice that is given throughout the day, enjoy the food and who know, you may go home with your honeymoon plans already made!
